I am a cisgender white woman, originally from New Zealand, and I’ve been living in Wales for the past 20 years. Life here has been enriched by my roles as a mother, daughter, sister, friend, colleague, and dog owner.
Some of the things that sustain me include walking with my dog through local woodlands and fields, daily meditation, being in water, and connecting with humans close to me.
I use a blend of person-centred and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapies to create a space of understanding and acceptance in which you can explore whatever you need to.
I am curious about and investigating Mindful practices currently. I am interested in the interplay of Buddhism, Psychology and Mindfulness, and am continually exploring these through reading, listening to podcasts, and practice.
The study of trauma, its impact, and pathways to healing is a particular area of passion in my work.
